We are committed to restoring New Testament Christianity, the original intent of the teachings of the Holy Bible, doing our best to emulate the life of Christ. We are committed to making disciples by loving God and loving our neighbors as ourselves, baptising them in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything Christ commanded. We desire to honor God by doing our part to fulfill THE GREAT COMMISSION. And we love to have a boatload of fun along the way.
"I revealed myself to those who did not ask for me; I was found by those who did not seek me. To a nation that did not call on my name, I said, ‘Here am I, here am I.'" [Isaiah 65:1]
"He has saved us and called us to a holy life-not because of anything we have done but because of his own purpose and grace...given us in Christ Jesus before the beginning of time." [2 Timothy 1:9]
"God chose the lowly things of this world and the despised things—and the things that are not-to nullify the things that are, so that no one may boast before him." [1 Corinthians 1:28-29]
With instant access to any and all information, it's as crucial now as in the days Jesus walked the earth, to base all teachings on God's Holy Word. John the Apostle said in his first letter: "...do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world." [1 John 4:1] In the Acts of the Apostles we are called to examine all teachings by comparing it with the scriptures [Acts 17:11] and in Paul's first letter to Timothy, we are encouraged to carefully live out what we teach so that we can save ourselves and those who listen to us [1 Timothy 4:16]. With that in mind, OUR BELIEFS are founded in His Word, as follows:
Loving God. Loving People.
Our leaders serve wholeheartedly to build up the church and call us to walk as Jesus walked, with humility and conviction. They do so based on the following scripture:
Matthew 20:25-28 But Jesus called them to him and said, “You know that the rulers of the Gentiles lord it over them, and their great ones exercise authority over them. It shall not be so among you. But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
